Why bother explaining how a fictional weapon works?

lol, its all part of disign. They actually have to create the sword to animate it.

That's not the Buster Sword, that's the unnamed six-part sword that Cloud uses in the movie Advent Children. Cloud only used the Buster Sword in Final Fantasy VII. They are both pretty cool swords though.

oh man ...really!?! I thought that for advent children they changed the buster to make it look more realestic.

Your right they both are really cool!

Nope, in fact the Buster Sword can be seen at the start of Advent Children, stuck in the earth at a high ridge (at a certain character's grave, in fact). I like 'em both!

oohhh yeah. I remember that now.

The sword is a military weapon of choice of Cloud's Final Fantasy World.

But from what I understand, it is made from a special metallic alloy that actually weighs less than it's actual mass.

It comes apart in a variety of fashions incase Cloud needs to throw or abandon the extra weight.

Unfortunately, if actual physics was involved, the idea of a weapon like that functioning properly is a total fantasy. Should something be able to be disassembled, is actually weaker than a solid piece sword.

ALLOT weaker. Parts shift, loose it's grip, then it'll just collapse.

Good weapons are solid, strong, and simple. A gun has allot of parts, but even those suffer from the wear and tear from constant use, and therefore have to be CONSTANTLY maintained.

A Solid Sword...now that's a weapon.

However...Squall Leonhart's sword (the GUN blade) has been theorized to be perfectly functional.

Old Southern Colonial warfare used Bayonets, and if accurate swordsmanship with gunsmith focused their talents together, a AWESOME solid piece known simply as the 'Gun-Blade' could exist.

A solid sword, Thats clouds Origanal weapon ...at least thats what I learned from Blackharrier32. The Original Buster sword does not come apart. U no from ff7. I think the one in the picture before is called the "final buster sword."

I'm telling you if we didn't have war things would be a lot cooler ...I mean right next to peace inventions would be amazing. I f scientist were to put there minds to other stuff besides weapons and ways to kill themselves more effectively we would have hover boards, unimaginably immersive game consoles, and just about everything would be 10x cooler because the great minds of the world wouldn't bethinking about how to make everything 10x more destructive.

As long as 'Cain' murdered 'Able'

Fighting for or against freedom, oppression, territory, and enslavement.

People have to fight, in order to survive. I know that seems weird. But it's part of our nature. Part of life actually. When you fight for something other than food, you fight through your beliefs, your emotions.

But humans are evolving and getting smarter. Hopefully, there is hope for your species yet.

As long as people learn to understand their emotions, and learn to trust and accept others.

But if not fighting against humans...then at least the evil inside us.

Cain was the first it was inevitable after they gained imperfection.

Its a spiraling effect. "Fighting for or against freedom, oppression, territory, and enslavement." People don't want to fight, but because other people do they have to. For there lives the must fight. The biggest intention of fighting is greed. Some people just don't care who they hurt or even kill. . .they just don't. "When you fight for something other than food, you fight through your beliefs, your emotions."Emotions require control, a lot of people don't have that ...they go too far. Unfortunately the worst of them all is, as I said before the people who show no emotion as to what happens to anybody.

I don't know if you believe in the bible, but 2 Timothy 3:1-17 list what the world would be like in the last days.

1 But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, self-assuming, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, 3 having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, 4 betrayers, headstrong, puffed up [with pride], lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godly devotion but proving false to its power; and from these turn away. 6 For from these arise those men who slyly work their way into households and lead as their captives weak women loaded down with sins, led by various desires, 7 always learning and yet never able to come to an accurate knowledge of truth.

Don't you see that today? If you don't, watch the news today and you'll know what I mean.

"But humans are evolving and getting smarter. Hopefully, there is hope for your species yet." They are getting smarter, learning new things, and inventing more technology, But there doing stupid things with it. I'm a history person myself ...at least its my best subject.:P And if you look at history things aren't getting better. A kid can't walk to the store saftley with out the chance of being kidnapped by a pedophile, you can't leave your door opened with out fear of being robbed, and we now have the enough nuclear weapons to destroy the earth many times over.

"But if not fighting against humans...then at least the evil inside us." Thats exactly what we have to do!

G Bless dude

hmmm that doesn't look like Christopher Walken
