Everyone needs some racial pride.
it's who we were and who we came from. Whatever your origins were, you gotta respect it because if it wasn't your ancestors, you wouldn't be here today.
And the black community did kinda suffer hardship in America for quite some time during the past century. And even after Abraham Lincoln it wasn't like...
'okay your free to go....but we're cool right?'
ain't that just a derp.
But we are kinda over that hill now as most people are over WW2 and their viewpoints of the Japanese.
Still, BLACK POWER for you man. Stay strong.

Dad - light Malato man dealt with Racism Defies genetics how he has straight hair lol(Brittish+Harlem/Barbadian) + Mom - Black woman, (Dominican west indies)
I guess growing up with two different cultures makes you look at humanity as your culture. I found that with many mixed people.
Of course I will admit I do find a certain dignity in the acknowledgement of your Skin color. hair. Genetics -and having pride in it, not trying to change that.
'okay your free to go....but we're cool right?' ---lol yea
I think its just in the taking sides -the unspoken or spoken "my race is better than yours" attitude. Its WAY too common. Its totally understandable how it came about ...the environment brewed that type of spirt vice versa and opposite. But, there's no real reason for it to still be here ...in America at the very least.
Were over that hill now
Cant move forward if your stuck in the past
But yes :D I guess ....BLACK POWER! :)
