I'm from Jersey, so I know who Sinatra is... There's value in most all music.
The clip you got's an example of a crooner doing a "torch song", as in "Just lost my girl and I miss her."
Modern music's trying too hard to be upbeat, slutty or violent; no one really sweats the other emotions... guess having a heart went out of style.

Yeah it did and its really sad.

Did a girl dump your heart?

:) lol no, I just heard news that things were gna get a bit difficult for my family again.. and this music was "easy and sad."

Something also tells me you might also like Bioshock

Oh I love the mid to early 1900's big band music! It sounds so pure, charming and nostalgic.

but I've never played Bioshock, I think I would like it too

I can't listen to crooners.

Oh, don't be a hipster

Lol. It really never appealed to me but I love some oldies. It just that style seems so bland. Back in those days they would be the popular artists like the ones I dislike now only because it doesn't get me feeling it.

lol your a hipster in all time periods! just joking :) I understand. I'm the same way with popular music these days ..its just I know its alll about money ..if an artist even gets a chance to bear his soul or tell his story.(rare) They suck the humanity out of it by making it so crisp and plastic sounding. They literally edit the pain out of there voices.

But I can really feel his music! It's So honest and cheezy, in a charming way. The popular music back then still had heart ..it was just really classy heart.
