Seems a mixture of New World Oder and self help ideology. The essence of the speech (by an actress I know), seems valid enough - live without the mask of title, status, reacting to evaluation... negative emotional states.
All true, but the real quest is to leave a leave a footprint in the sand that is not easily washed away. The average age of a human used to be just past 30 y/o. With antibiotics, more preserved foods, our lives are more than doubled in span. It's either more time to build and function, or more time to waste and to worry over our time on the stage.

she's so hot :P
I don't think it really maters, what kind of name you make with men. At least logically, all things are temporary in the physical world. Its all about relativity ...and relative to eternity.. the math isn't favorable. It seems awfully futile to me, to live your life to make a mark that stands after your dead.
What doesn't seem futile is trying to make a difference you can actually experience, as well as "storing up treasures in heaven, rather than treasures on earth."
