Sorry it took a while for me to check the song with your lyrics in mind.... very decent lyrics!
I guess if you had to sing it, you could throw in a few words around the sparser places, but the meaning might get thrown off track.
I used to keep a rhyme book at the end of HS and a little while after... then 1992 came and the whole scene seemed to change. Imagine my surprise when I, by chance, caught a documentary on PBS on hip-hop and rap, with that date right in the title, and how the industry just wanted the 'sellable' urban conflict type stuff. Definitely coming back to finish watching the rest of these vids, whether you make a new post or not :)
