Tom Law's cartoon is a masterpiece of expression.

Though animation's kinetic movement, he expresses just how we can all feel a bit 'awkward'.

I always find myself coming back to watch that particular toon.

It is. He is kinda what inspired me to try an animate again. I love his little stories.

Yup, last one was pretty apt. Takes practice to mingle, assert yourself.
2.7 stars... for a test! Not bad!

Well, I think it was more than that. It's about being disconnected, not on everyone elses level. Though it does seem to become the most apparent during a party of some sort. lol. he says "I wish I was more caring, I wish I was more loving." as he begins to fly off into the air. She grabs him, tells him he's not alone and gives him the opportunity to get out of his own head, by thinking about how comfortable she is. He then is able to literally come down to earth. It's a brilliant short, it really is!

Yeah, I was happy about that, I thought it was gna get blammed or something.

Stuck in the Sound was also a good vid/animation. Dunno why it reminds me of Warlordofnoodles' work, guess it has to do with how well a story is told.

Part of the reason I gave up on videomaking, was all the good and admirable stuff that's online :\ I hope you can keep following the high road....

Yo! I just discovered Warlordofnoodles' stuff like a week ago, I love her story telling!

Ah, I know what you mean, but only you can do what you can do, the way you do it.. at least, that's what I keep telling myself =P haha, no but it's true. The only thing original we have is our own personalities. If you can some how find a way to inject that into your work, you'll have something original.

Wes Anderson is a perfect example, and Warlordofnoodles too!

I would like to.. but it's very hard to create in vacuum. It seems my passion is directly related to the amount of people who care about my work. Otherwise, I'm just talking to myself.. again.

Vacuumitis, I got that too. Though I'm sure if I go through my old production notes, I'd find something worth doing. Before I quit, I found I liked taking crap footage and (carefully) talking over it... making a story/poem/stream of consciousness thingy out of bad acting and badly recorded audio... hardly NG material, unless I did stop-motion or CG overlays/backgrounds.

I always envied cartoonists... create exactly what you want, only the VA's to deal with.

That sounds like some fun content. Yeah, cartoonists have it grand.

Maybe this summer I'll get my tapes digitized. I just don't like YouTube... now you have to make a Google +1 account to submit video? I don't trust Google, maybe Vimeo :p
