Hey man, how you holding up? Very attractive looking work, good words too....

and.....?

sorry I took so long to reply. I'm on the up of the life roller coaster, thanks for asking :) And, thanks! I appreciate it. I wanted to try my hand at like... micro writing. Even if it's just silly stuff. How are things going for you?

Ah, spring's here and I pretty much got a ton of lead in my ass, trying to gear up for the trip to NG HQ... what's a good digital camera, you know? Tom keeps the blinds closed... so dark :)

lol! You need a night vision camera. That's cool though

Sup man, it's been a while!

yeah dude. Trying to get my life on track. Trying to get a grant that covers community college. Hopefully I can find some people to help me were I need to be creatively... or whatever.

^that's my last project.. whats new with you?

Ah, I'm moving and complaining like an old man... but then I see the kinda of work you've been putting into illustration - holy christ cakes man, if anyone deserves a significantly reduced college tuition, it's you!

Oddly enough, I commissioned a work from the chick who did this www.newgrounds.com/art/view/lithiumlover194/starfire-and-raven Think I better send her that link PDQ..... Wasn't expecting such a wonderful treatise on light :)

Moving? Are you moving far?

^_^ Thanks! I wish.. I'm just so secluded you know? My whole idea for going to community college is just to be physically noticed by someone who can give me a knee up to were I need to be, or at least point me in the right direction. Impress people who can help me.

oh awesome, that is a coincidence. Who doesn't dig Starfire's unpractical alien costume :D

Don't know. Once the farm's sold, I have to get my stuff and leave... to where, IDK. Tom suggested there's still a few good small farms in Bucks county, but I have no idea... I'll probably have to sit in a hotel room until I get my cut :\ My bro and sis wanna sell the farm since they're more in debt and on the opposite coast.

As far as work as an artist, magazines and rich ppl who like commissions, art galleries... I just wonder if CC can be helpful to you, as opposed to a waste of time and money.

Yeah, I probably just need to bite the bullet and risk some shit, you know.... I just wouldn't know were to start. lol, I guess that's not a good reason to go to CC. But, I just need a path. I'm not this super charming socialite that can just go to some advertising place and not take no for an answer. (if I even want that) Maybe, I could find a job that doesn't destroy my will to live and pursue art on the side. I'd totally be fine with that.

Well, here's to new beginnings. *clinks glass* Let us treat it like an adventure, because life is change. It's better than the same.

You gotta play to what you're worth, production-wise. I'd ay shoot for portraits of couples, rich folk in country clubs, retirement communities, big churches... idk. You don't have any upper scale relatives or friends in high places (or a combination of both)?

I wish. My mom's an immigrant and my Dad's family lives like Jesus. "No part of the world." So, yeah.. hard to be part of the world. I'll figure something out. I just got to make a path, be positive and stick to it. At this point, any path is better than no path.

The middle class is almost gone.... there's always contests I guess http://ravish261.newgrounds.com/news/post/895080

yup, I'm definitely not in the middle class.

oh, awesome

Hey, how goes it? Find any kind of artists' work?

I'm ok. Nah, I didn't find any artist work, but I'm starting this green energy construction program fo tomorrow. (retrofitting houses, solar panel construction, ect) It's one month, they pay you and give you certification. They'll give you jobs if they like your work ethic. I never did anything like it, but I figure it's a good way to get out of my comfort zone, I need money for tuition and hey.. I might actually like it. At the same time, I'm trying to keep up with my art studies and having the construction thing going on the side makes me feel freer to be less commercial with my art. idk, everything's up in the air. I'm just going to try my best.

It's supposedly pretty well paying work, also kinda of a bitch... just do what you can, so the roof doesn't leak, and don't fall through a rotten roof if you can!

Anyway, don't be a stranger, lemme know how the solar course goes!
