Its pointless Garbage. ...I mean reaaally?!!! Really??!! REALLY!??!!! like ....it makes you want to turn off the t.v.

Its horrible. And its not even just the contrast between How good it used to be and .... whatever it is now. Its the fact that now. ....its ....so desperate for laughs its deplorable

but let me calm down lol

I believe the Quality of the show started to go down after the Movie was made. (loved the movie!) ...but then the creator left.

You see a good show has HEART and VISION ...I think that left with Stephen

...season 3 -As I always remember "SpongeBob Meets the Strangler" as one of the last really funny episodes. After that its as if they were just riding off of fumes. There were some ones I liked like the one were Squid gets hansom. ...or that one were plankton is in court and he's like "I used to be a happy "go lucky" guy" lol that was a good one.

But Planktons always funny :P His voice its just. ...the voice actor whatever line he gets he makes gold out of it'

Unfortunately ...I dont think there going to stop ...I'd like to think of this new sponge bob as a completely different sponge bob ;P perhaps an alternate universe of some type haha anyway

RIP the kid who ripped his pants ....eh well theres 3 good seasons so, thats not to shabby at all :D

I still liked the fourth season, although I didn't like it afterwards. That may be because some guy on the show named C.H. Greenblatt left the show after season 4. The show is okay, but it's really really not funny. It has it's awesome episodes once in a blue moon, though. I liked that one with Johnny Depp.

I agree, there was some good in the 4th season ....it was a gradual change from Great to ew :P. YES writers make such a huge difference ...they literally make the show. You change the writers you change the show.

Spongebob has annoyed the hell out of me ever since it first came out.

The appeal of Nick shows for me was Angry Beavers. But at least there was a uneven balance between stupidity and intelligence amongst the brothers.

Spongebob has re-used the same kind of jokes over and over again. It also gives me the impression that Spongebob is really that asinine.

Unlike in Adventure Time, the stupidity is used properly along with stylish animation and or music. It's clever and not just a bunch of re-used ideas.

Re-used is the new sponge bob ...just one of the many ...they not only re-use the classic sponge bob premises ...But they sloughter everything we loved about it haha oh maan.

Nick is premiering some bullshit Bucket and SKinner show tonight. It looks really dumb. Honestly, I can still stand Cartoon Network, but I can NOT stand Nick and Disney. At least Cartoon Network tries, and they still have a few decent shows.

I agree, it's lost it's creativity. although it's a still a decent show, I tend to watch the older episodes more.

But lately I've been seeing Spongebob getting confused at a very easily understandable situation.

Plankton stealing the formula....AGAIN with very similar schemes.

Why does Spongebob seem intelligent sometimes but just as dumb as Patrick other times?
