Looks like a good start! You can put that link right above your dA one (on your main page).

beastkid7 responds:

That is awesome man, you are a FANTASTIC artist.

Truth be told. I can feel myself slipping away these days. Not that I'm sick, or at least I don't think I am.

But certain things have become disinteresting. And my interest in art has been like baby steps since I hadn't drawn in YEARS.

So I have to forgive myself when I feel uncomfortable with my tablet. I just gotta keep practicing. I feel like a child to drawing again.

Fortunately my wisdom seems to be getting better every day if I do say so myself.

And I've been meditating much better than before.

Say it in a Mantra style...just repeat the word or phrase you want all the time while breathing slowly and eyes closed.

"patience-patience-patience-patience" etc.

beastkid7 responds:

:D thanks Jak!

Yeah, I had a similar feeling, with drawing anyways. I realized that even though I appreciate visual art to the fullest, at my heart, story telling is really what I care about the most. Explains why I always wanted to be a movie director. But drawing is the only medium I have exercised to this point, so it makes sense to continue it. But, I've coupled a story with the exercising of my skill to push me to tell it to its completion, and thus become a better artist.

"Doesn't mater how slow you go, as long as you don't stop." -quote I saw on tumbler

Maybe you like me and you just really rather tell a story than to do random drawings. Just look any webcomic's "first comic". It usually looks like crap. You can see there steady advancement as they tell there story.

After a while not drawing it will feel that way. You just need to do some "warm up sketches". Its like stretching before a race. It actually works.

Can't argue with that. You could make a small web comic with a wise old man, and a few kids who get into crazy situations. Allowing you to express your advice threw the old man, and your dilemmas threw the rowdy kids :). You could make the characters by splitting up your personality into exaggerated caricatures.

Every time I meditate I feel bad that I'm not praying instead and it turns into prayer. There very similar. For me anyways. Well there not as peaceful as they used to be.

You seriously have to check out this moral oral episode.

Everyone's got their own way to enlightenment and salvation. What matters is the core of their character.

For as vast of the universe, so is the vastness and lovingness of god.

Hindu's got the same idea about wholeness. They accept their Gods as well as the Christian God as being part of the Universe. It was a really frustration to the pastors who tried to convert them :3

There are many variations of the same thing.

So don't be bothered by methods. Just focus on the heart. There is wisdom in gaining other perspective. And medication is a GREAT perspective.

Even the God's Prayer can be broken down into a Mantra and fits geometrically with

It's VERY important not to view things with discrepancy on the surface. And really analyze what things are though and through.

And the truth is, there are MANY ways to be good people.

"Gandi was so fucking Christian he was HIndu"

Christanity is the most media expressed Religion in the United States so it would 'appear' that it is predominant.

But people are still people and NO MATTER WHAT, they will interpret it their own way because of their individual character.

There is even a Spin-Off where Superman crash lands into Russia as a baby instead of the United States. But because of his own individual heart-felt empathy, grew up to be a great hero in his own right.

"I like your Christ. I do not like your Christians. They are so unlike your Christ." Gandhi

beastkid7 responds:

Thats a really good point you make about inherent interpretations

Some people talk a lot and say little. Jak an the other hand's got a lot to say! Wonder what JazLyte (Kalen) would think of his philosophy...
Glad to see your hole-in-one picture got a respectable score!

beastkid7 responds:

He sure does! Thanks, me too! Surprising as I usually get lame scores for NG. I don't think they respect the more simple artworks unless its a familiar character.

Respect might be a bridge too far for the usual NG crowd, but the Art portal's probably we can do.
Like ToonHole, simple sells when there's an indication of effort - more than a few old timers here talk about the idea/effort ratio when it comes to voting....

beastkid7 responds:

hmm, toonwhole seems pretty cool.

beastkid7 responds:

THank you! That means a lot :)
