Heart ache
For no reason I found
I feel such painful pound
And ambient feeling of death
Or yearning for it at best
Its almost too much to take
Is this what it feels like to heart ache
When your in love but you have to stay away
But you see her beauty everyday.

I had to write a myth that teaches a lesson for mythology class -guess what the lesson is
Honor
There is a world beyond death. A place the gods made were those who lived a life of honor live once again. Though he never really died, he just laid there under the ground half-consciously angry at the world ...at he who betrayed him. So filled with rage that he could not yet die. His name was General Tie and five years ago he and his family were killed. They were killed by Emperor Gin.It is un-honorable to kill a man caught off guard and more so a man of the military. The emperor said it was a result of a minor enemy invasion. Tie was the only one that knew. He figured it was an act of jealousy because he was considered the most skilled warrior in kearon and that Gin was the most skilled second only to General Tie. Tie was Chief instructor for the best military recruits, he knew countless fighting styles and had created many all his own. But most of his time was spent with his family. Oh how he loved his family. He had a son and a wife.
Thinking of his family only fueled his anger as he laid there beneath the earth day after day. He was buried out side the emperor's castle with all the other fallen worriers. The tomb stones were hardly visible as the fog was thick near the ground. But it was that night that General Tie's anger burned so deep that he regained command over his limbs and dug his way to the surface. He through himself out of the whole, on to what seemed to be damp cold dirt. He could not feel a thing. As he got up the dirt sifted through his bones and the military robe was buried in. His robe was blue but tarnished by the erosion of damp dirt making it a more rustic color. Ripped and torn the robe only partially covered his almost fully decade body. But he did not stand like a dead man, he stood like a general. He cracked his head towards the emperor's castle with only vengeance on his mind.
He dashed through the grave splitting the fog that reached up to his waist. Tie gained on the Guards in front of the large brick wall surrounding the castle. But he came only to kill one man. So before he became anything more than a faded silhouette in the fog he leaped into the air. Gliding above the guards and cutting through the winds until he landed on top of the wall shattering the bricks beneath him. Unfortunately his presence was made known and the guards came out of there stations. He stood on the broad brick surface as the guards came in from both sides. They charged him only to be met by stiff blocks and swift throws. Tie swayed back and forth with ease creating a dance of counters and strikes that sent men flying every which way. The master of fighting technique took care not to kill his brothers -the ones in witch he trained. Even those with weapons he would disarm them sending the swords and knives into brick. Tie turned his head in the direction of the castle to see what lit the night sky and all he saw were three arrows coursing through the sky at great speeds. Aimed accurately they made impact in less than seconds. He fell to the ground burning. For a short while the guards watched the large fire his body made.
Then there eyes widened as general Tie got up his whole body crackling from the fire. No one dared touch him then, he was a fear inspiring site. He stood on top of the wall as the only source of light other then the castle. He lunged off the wall plummeting to the brick path leading to the castle. He landed breaking all the royal busts and statutes as he made impact. He made his way to and through the castle, no one even tried to stop him. Then as he walked into the planning room he saw emperor Gin standing there scared -but standing with pride. The emperor was wearing a blue robe lined with red and adorned in badges of all sorts. As Tie pulled out his sword Gin notices his face, though burning and decayed he could never forget that face. As soon as he had realized Gins face shrunk back into a face of fear and amazement, then preparing him self for what was to come next. As Tie pulled out a sword to the emperor's neck a little boy walked in along with his mother. The emperors family. At that second General Ties flames vanished as they reminded him of his family. Thinking deeply about his family he withdrew the sword from the emperors neck and accepted death for rage had clouded his judgment. General Tie dispersed into sand flying out the entrance to the grave yard leaving only the sword burnt gold by his undead flames. The Emperor's face hardened in respect for him and hung the golden sword up for all to see. General Tie was the most skilled fighter second to none and the most honorable because he chose to do right when it was much easier to do wrong. It is un-honorable to kill a man caught off guard and more so a man of royalty. So there is a world beyond death. A place the gods made were those who lived a life of honor live once again. A place were family is found and were warriors come for peace.
